As a travel photographer primarily focused on Greece's rugged beauty, my recent stay at Valentino Hotel proved to be both convenient and valuable. With a late flight out of Rhodes, we needed a base to freshen up, and Valentino's proximity to the airport was a significant plus. During our short visit, I noticed the hotel offers clean rooms equipped with air conditioning, a helpful mini fridge, and a flat-screen TV-ideal for moments of downtime. The outdoor seasonal pool provided a relaxing escape after a day of exploring. The staff, led by Maria and Vasilis, are genuinely welcoming, an aspect that truly enhances the overall experience. While the planes do pass overhead, their presence is easily overshadowed by the hotel's peaceful garden area and the nearby beach, just a short stroll away. Given the quality of service and amenities, I'd say Valentino strikes a fine balance between luxury and value, particularly for those looking to explore Rhodes seamlessly without breaking the bank. It's a good choice for couples and families alike.
